The story of Baby L, whose parents fought to keep her on a life support machine in a New Zealand hospital in spite of doctors' opposition, made headlines around the world. This programme tells the inside story of Baby L's brief life, from her mother in whose arms she eventually died, and from the doctors who went to court to win the right to terminate her life.
