Walter Collins is a native of Liverpool, and received his early musical education at the Manchester Royal College of Music. He also studied under Busoni. He has had a a long and varied experience, for he received his first professional engagment as conductor at the age of seventeen, and has been conducting, composing, and arranging for orchestra ever since. He has acted as musical director for all sorts of productions, from musical comedy to films.
