Earlier today, at the London Hilton on Park Lane, the Variety Club of Great Britain announced the winners of its
Annual Show Business Awards.
The Chief Barker, Paul Gregg , presented awards reflecting the outstanding performances of 1989. Featuring:
Stage Actress and Actor; Film Actress and Actor; BBC and Independent Radio and TV Personalities; Recording
Artist; Most Promising Artist; Show Business Personality; and a Special Award for an Outstanding Contribution to Entertainment.
