A programme of popular favourites from the world of music, and particularly opera, introduced and performed by one of the world's best-loved singers, the Spanish tenor, Placido Domingo. His guests include Kiri Te Kanawa , who sings an aria from Messiah, and joins Placido in a duet; Peter Glossop , who sings lago to Placido's Otello; Donald Sinden and Bob Peck , who perform the equivalent scene from Othello; and the Choir of Chichester Cathedral singing music for Christmas.
