Albert Hall , pictures in music, from the beautifully descriptive Frescoes of Martinu to Debussy's evocation of the sea inspired by a Japanese print. Mendelssohn's light and lyrical concerto completes the programme, along with the atmospheric nocturnes of Goldschmidt - his final work, receiving its world premiere.
