Lost in a cave, Tom and Becky saw Indian Joe, they fled from him and found an escape path to the outside. For safety the cave entrance was blocked off, but when Tom found out he told of Indian Joe. The cave was opened, but Joe was dead. Huck and Tom were convinced that Joe hid the treasure in the cave, and started searching.
