' John of the Sea '
Illustrated talk by Thurston Dart The speaker, who is a Fellow of Jesus College, Cambridge, talks about his recent elucidation of the puzzle motet associated with the anonymous Tudor Mass ' 0 quam suavis,' and shows how it reveals the composer's identity. The motet is sung by members of the Schola Polyphonica (director, Henry Washington). This is the last of three programmes about recent research in the field of pre-Reformation English music.
