International Battle of the Pop Bands

David Jensen introduces the first international Battle of the Pop Bands. The groups from throughout Europe have been competing over the past months to arrive at this final and represent their country.
Paul Gambaccini with Kim Wilde, Robin Gibb, Tony Visconti and Carlene Carter are the judges awarding the points for the content, performance and potential.
The musical broadsides will be fired by SUGAR BAY FIVE from the UK, THE NITS from the Netherlands, MARC SEBERG from France, BROADCAST from Finland, MECANO from Spain and THE DAYS from Germany.
The guests who make their BBC debut are dance group Cachncha.
