Titchmarsh's Travels

on BBC One London

The fourth of six programmes following in pilgrims' footsteps around Britain and Ireland.
Chasing the Wild Goose. Alan Titchmarsh discovers that 14 centuries after St Columba brought Christianity to Iona in the Inner Hebrides, traditional monastic life has returned to the island. The Iona Community was founded in 1938 by the Very Rev Lord MacLeod of Fuinary (who died last month). Now 250,000 people every year travel to this centre of Celtic spirituality.
