from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Boston, Lincolnshire. Conducted by Father Bernard Grimley, D.D., Ph.D.
Father Grimley comes back to broadcasting after twelve years of pastoral work, mostly in the Midlands where he is known as one of the outstanding Roman Catholic preachers of the day. Before that, for six years, he was Editor of the Catholic Times. Each Sunday in March he will broadcast the People's Service from his church at Boston â the real original Boston, as he had to remind his audiences during his two American tours.
Today Dr. Grimley considers one of the most dramatic incidents in the life of Christ - the feeding of a great crowd with a few loaves and fishes. He shows how Our Lord used this to introduce a new theme, beginning now to prepare his hearers for the Eucharist. Some of them found this new teaching a a hard saying ' and left him.
