by Valerie Hamilton
Valerie Hamilton was bom in Paris of British parents. Her father, G. Miss Hamilton showed outstanding musical gifts at the age of six, and at the age of thirteen she entered the Paris Conservatoire, where she eventuallv won the Premier Prix de Piano. Among other prizes that Miss Hamilton has carried off are the Premier Prix Liszt, Premier Prix d'Histoire de la Musique, and the Premier Prix d'Accompagnement au Piano.
Although this is Miss Hamilton's first broadcast appearance in England, she is well known to French listeners, having broadcast many times from Radio-Paris, Paris P.T.T., and Poste Parisien during the last three years.
