It is June 1939 - Edmund has a German penfriend, Otto. Edmund is also a boy scout, and when Otto writes of the new order, unity in the Fatherland, and Brotherhood, Edmund misinterprets these pronouncements and naively uses Wolf patrol to further the Nazi cause.
