The New Album Chart kid JENSEN writes:
' enjoy the weekly LP chart run-down from 6.0 to 7.0 each Thursday on the programme. It offers the one opportunity in the week for listeners to hear tracks from the most popular new entries and climbers. Unlike the pop singles chart there are many examples of Lps which have stayed among the top sellers for literally years -Fleetwood Mac's Rumours and the brilliant Electric Light Orchestra's Out of the Blue are just two examples. To my ears the album charts reflect a wider variety of popular music tastes than perhaps the singles charts do.'
