The number of people killed and injured on the roads of Britain is still an urgent social problem. During August alone, more than 16,000 people were injured and nearly four hundred people killed -including nearly a hundred children. Tonight's programme describes some of the facts behind this tragedy, and the steps that are being taken to prevent it
