The police are increasingly powerless to enforce the obscenity law because juries often refuse to convict even hard-core pornography cases.
Although Britain has some of the world's toughest porn laws, Home Secretary Jack Straw has ordered film censors to apply them even more strictly. Can Straw's law survive in the sex-obsessed nineties?
