The music of Rubinstein, Chaykovsky, Sgambati, and Turina, will be drawn upon for examples of dance-rhythms, written in the form of ' pieces de salon ' for the pianoforte. The programme will include a polka, a waltz, a mazurka, a gavotte, and a zapateado (a kind of Spanish dance).
