Top children's authors and illustrators gather at BBC's Television Centre for this year's awards. Jacqueline Wilson , William Nicholson , Allan Ahlberg and Geraldine McCaughrean are among the writers competing for the Blue Peter Book of the Year, while other categories include the Best Book to Read Aloud and the Book I Couldn't Put Down.
