Heartburn Hotel 10.00pm BBC1
In the concluding episode of this relentlessly downbeat sitcom, our anti-hero Harry Springer finally finds something to smile about. With the Eurovision Song Contest about to hit town, Harry is hopeful that he can net at least one delegation of wannabe popsters. Unfortunately for him, he ends up welcoming the delegation from Zagrovia, a down-at-heel eastern European country.
Once he lays eyes on the lead singer, however, Harry perks up. He takes her on a city tour that will no doubt have the Birmingham Tourist Board spitting with fury, and apparently wins her heart. But with a wig on that makes him look like "a 50-year-old man disguised as Deputy Dawg", his prospects look limited.
