Three days after President Ferdinand Marcos had been ousted from power, the new Philippines government set up a special commission to trace millions of dollars that he and his wife Imelda were thought to have spirited out of the country. Left behind in the presidential palace were documents pointing to a fortune hidden in offshore companies and secret Swiss bank accounts.
Tonight's programme follows the complex trail of that fortune around the world. Private videotapes, shot by the Marcos family, reveal the lavish life style which belied his official income of$5,600 a year. Now the exiled
