Elsie Carlisle is back on the air after an absence of three months. Jack Doyle, the singing Irish boxer, and Judith Allen, met each other at a party given by Kay Francis in Hollywood in February, 1935, and they were married within two months. They are over here with a contract to film in the autumn.
Jack Barty was in White Horse Inn.
Casanova, and The Silver Swan, and has broadcast and performed all over the world. Tonight with Leslie Hatton - new to the London microphone - he is to do a new act written by themselves.
Robb Wilton has been all round the world and has appeared at a Royal Command Performance. Al Burnett is to make his English debut tonight, but he has broadcast a lot in America.
