Earlier this year the American Film Institute's third Life Achievement Award was presented to Orson Welles ' in honour of his landmark work, Citizen Kane, for the other memorable films he has written and directed, for his work as a performer and for the inspiration he has provided to film makers the world over.'
With Frank Sinatra as host, highlights from a star-studded occasion include contributions from CHARLTON HESTON ,JOSEPH COTTEN ,
INGRID BERGMAN , PETER BOGDANOVICH , JANET LEIGH , DENNIS WEAVER , NATALIE WOOD - and from ORSON WELLES himself, both on film and in person.
