Once every five years, thousands of people from every corner of Czechoslovakia converge on Prague to take part in, or witness, a spectacular physical culture display.
Groups of up to 14,000 people perform gymnastic movements to music specially composed for the event, choreographed to create a kaleidoscopic picture of colour, movement and rhythm, unique in the world.
