Songs of the Guadalquivir

on BBC Radio 3

Flamenco's heartlands of Cordoba, Seville and Cadiz are linked by the great river Guadalquivir, which flows from Jaen's dry olive groves to the Atlantic town of San Lucar. The flamenco guitarist Marcos presents songs from its fertile valley, including cante by Camaron and Rafael Romero.
