Carry on Jack

on BBC One London

The Saturday film starring Bernard Cribbins, Kenneth Williams, Juliet Mills with Charles Hawtrey, Donald Houston, Cecil Parker

Albert Poop-Decker finally graduates as a midshipman and is assigned to the good ship HMS Venus, hopefully pointed in the general direction of the Spanish Main. This large helping of naughty nautical nonsense is set, loosely speaking, in the heroic days of Horatio Nelson and crewed by the ever-popular Carry On team.
Presiding over as motley a bunch as ever sailed the seven seas is Kenneth Williams as the inappropriately named Captain Fearless, suitably dismayed to find most of the crew thirsting for glory and spoiling for action.
