Murder Not Proven?: 2: Death on the Mountain

on BBC One London

In addition to the normal verdicts in English law of guilty or not guilty, there is a third, unique to Scottish law: not proven.
On a busy steamer sailing to Arran in July 1889, Edwin Rose met John Laurie for the first time. A few days later the two young men walked up Goatfell, the island's highest peak, but only one came down.
