MRS. DALE'S DIARY

on Light Programme

Script by Robert Turley
Repeated on Thursday at 11.15 a.m. Produced by Betty Davies and Eileen Cullen
Mrs. Dale writes:
I shall never forget the night we spent at the hospital waiting for news. We came back at dawn and waited again for the telephone to ring. Then Sue and Jim found that Captain had been run over. Richard arrived unexpectedly from America and shortly after that a call came from the hospital. The crisis was over, they said. And now Mother really seems to be making progress. Richard and Sally have moved to the Sutherland and it looks as if Mr. and Mrs. Maggs are going to move into Virginia Lodge. Sally has been helping Vicky in the shop and they think that one of the pieces Mother bought may prove quite valuable.
