According to cosmic records, the old world narrowly escaped disaster in the year 1968 and Captain Kirk is assigned the task of discovering what happened. Back-tracking through time, the historical research mission assumes more than academic interest when the mysterious Mister Seven makes an abrupt appearance and Captain Kirk is brought down to earth with a vengeance!
