TV's most famous sci-fi series starring William Shatner as Captain Kirk, Leonard Nimoy as Mr Spock

According to cosmic records, the old world narrowly escaped disaster in the year 1968 and Captain Kirk is assigned the task of discovering what happened. Back-tracking through time, the historical research mission assumes more than academic interest when the mysterious Mister Seven makes an abrupt appearance and Captain Kirk is brought down to earth with a vengeance!
