A programme of gramophone records devised by Ronald Hilborne presented by Patric Curwen
Believing that it is characteristic of England to poke fun at its best-loved institutions, Roland Hilbourne has gathered together this afternoon's programme of gramophone records bearing out this belief. You will hear, for example, Clapham and Dwyer making fun of a day's broadcasting, and also a cod ' impression of a village concert. The programme will not be confined wholly to English mischief-making, for it will include Offenbach's ' Gendarme' duet in which uproarious fun is made of policemen.
