Sportsnight: Bruno Live

on BBC One London

It is six months since
Frank Bruno 's last world-title boxing challenge ended with defeat by Lennox Lewis for the WBC heavyweight championship. His professional record now stands at 36 wins and four losses (to James "Bonecrusher" Smith, Tim Witherspoon and Mike Tyson prior to Lewis).
At 32 he embarks on his latest comeback with a non-title bout against the 36-year-old
American Jesse Ferguson , live from Birmingham's NEC.
Ferguson's best recent result was a victory over former champion Ray Mercer in a modest career record of 20 wins in 31 fights. The much loved
Bruno must win tonight if he is to extend his career in the ring.
Harry Carpenter is at the ringside. Plus the latest football, cricket and racing news. Producer Vivien Kent
