Hannah More , who died 150 years ago. was one of the moat influential women of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. She had a great impact on the change in religious attitudes and public behaviour that marked the difference between the Georgian and Victorian eras and played a leading role in the education of women, the advocacy of anti-slave arguments and the beginnings ofsocialwork.
