A feature film starring
Henry VIII now wants a divorce from Katherine of Aragon and decides to declare himself head of the English Church. But one man whose approval and support Henry seeks, will not endorse his action. Sir Thomas More is the most widely respected man in the Council of England. He will not denounce the king's action but his resignation as Chancellor and his obstinate silence bring him into tragic conflict with the king.
