Tourist Trophy Motor Race over the Ards Circuit, near Belfast
A Running Commentary by HUMFREY E. SYMONS at the Grand Stand
RAYMOND GLENDENNING at
Newtownards
F. J. FINDON at Barn Hill, Ballystockart
Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this year's R.A.C. Tourist Trophy Race is that for the first time women drivers are being allowed to compete, and among those who have taken this opportunity, at the time of going to press, are Miss Doreen Evans , who is driving an Aston Martin , and Mrs. T. H. Wisdom , who, with Mrs. A. C. Dobson , will be co-drivers in a Fiat. Among the well-known men racing drivers will be Earl Howe and Brian Lewis (Lagonda), E. R. Hall (Bentley), and Freddie Dixon (Riley).
An article on the race, by Earl Howe , will be found on page II, and a plan of the course on page 57.
