Nelson Mandela in His Own Words
On 12 March, after nearly 30 years of enforced separation, Nelson Mandela flew into
Stockholm for a reunion with his lifelong friend and fellow founder of the African National Congress, Oliver Tambo. In an exclusive, in-depth interview, Joan Bakewell talks to Nelson Mandela about the personal and spiritual journey that has sustained him during his long years of imprisonment and asks him what his vision is for the future of his country and people.
