Conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. Kenneth Healey

How is life to be measured? In years; in richness and variety of experience; in length of obituary notices? Kenneth Healey, with a farming background himself, and in the harvest month, suggests that the country year offers us a clue. For the year Is not just so many days or weeks; it Is a whole, finding its meaning and purpose in harvest. Life also is made whole in a purpose, to be begun and fulfilled. The key to this purpose lies in a phrase of the Lord's Prayer, Thy will be done.' This theme will be developed throughout the month.
