An appeal by disabled people on behalf of the British Council for Rehabilitation of the Disabled.
Contributions, preferably by crossed postal order or cheque, will be gratefully acknowledged and should be addressed to: Disabled Appeal, [address removed].
This is the principal organisation concerned with every aspect of disability. Its prime concern is the restoration to as near normal as possible of those who have suffered a disabling experience. The Council does not look merely at the disability, but at what is left of capacity. By education, training, research, and study new horizons have been created for thousands of handicapped people.
