Cat's Whiskers

The first of five programmes. The summer series of Cat's
Whiskers starts, literally, with a bang! Bernard Cribbins and P.J. are hundreds of feet above the Pacific Ocean, in a dilapidated hot-air balloon. They lose control and seconds later find themselves crash-landing onto the top of a tall palm tree on a desert island.
Bernard has his array of tapes, among which is a full dramatisation of the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, dramatised by OLWEN WYMARK from The Sword and the Circle by ROSEMARY SUTCLIFF.
The programme also includes a quiz a competition, a feature by 3 Chris Harris, and an interruption from
