The Red Queen's remark often seems very true of life nowadays: the imaginary-real world of Lewis Carroll is the setting of Wilfred Josephs' opera for children. It had its first performance last year at the Harrogate Festival. Here, as then, it is performed by the children and young people of the Leeds Opera Group.
