Jorvik - Viking York
Over the last eight years a wealth of Viking objects has been brought to light from the wet, oozey mud of Coppergate - an archaeological site in the heart of York. A shopping area is now being built over it, but what has been learnt so far about the Viking city, Its inhabitants, its trade and character?
