Introduced by Desmond Lynam.
Wimbledon 97 Live coverage as the world's greatest grass-court tennis tournament reaches the end of its first week. At this stage last year, there were only five seeds left in the men's singles. But British fortunes were flying high after Tim Henman beat fellow Briton
Luke Milligan in the third round and Sweden's Magnus Gustafsson in the fourth, to secure a historic place in a quarter-final against Todd Martin.
In the women's singles, 15-year-old newcomer Martina Hingis got through to the fourth round before being beaten by defendingchampion Steffi Graf. But with Graf out of this year's tournament the new world number one will have her sights set on the Wimbledon singles title.
