If you get away from it, away from clocks and going-to-the.office-at-the-same-time-each-day, it seems that the body readjusts to a slightly longer 'day '-sometimes up to thirty hours. Of course, to test this you have also to get away from day and night-which is why Dr. Lobban has done so much of her work in the constant summer daylight of Spitzbergen.
