Electronic sensing devices and electronk ' brains ' can instruct machines to react according to circumstances and thus exhibit a form of ' intelligence.' They perform intricate tasks and correct their own errors, ultimate performance being limited only by the speed and accuracy with which errors are corrected. In both these respects electronics has made tremendous advances possible.
