' The Major Task of Our Generation '
HENRI Bouche
In the last letter that T. E. Lawrence sent to Robert Graves he wrote that ' the conquest of the air seems the major task of our generation It is on this ' major task ' considered as a whole that Henri Bouche will speak this evening. Bouché, a Frenchman, is the editor of an important technical monthly called L'Aeronautique. In the war, from 1915 to 1918, he served in the French army, where he did a good deal of valuable observation and reconnaissance work.
And today in civil life he is acknowledged to be one of the greatest authorities on the problem of internationalising civil aviation.
