Catch-22

on BBC One London

War satire, based on Joseph Heller's bestseller, starring Alan Arkin, Martin Balsam

Surrounded by encroaching madness at an American airforce base, Captain Yossarian asks to be certified as mentally unfit to fly. Only then does he learn about Catch-22. Since no sane person would want to fly, asking to be grounded suggests sanity.
