Another chance to hear last
Tuesday's Prom which introduced a new work by Judith Weir , written for the American soprano Dawn Upshaw. The work reflects on mankind's relationship to the natural world, and the piece is complemented by the portrayal of elephants in Stravinsky's polka and Delius's evocative picture of country life.
