The stainless steel and glass entrance to London's Strand Palace Hotel has just been acquired by the Victoria and Albert Museum as an example of 1920s design.
J.M. Richards, editor of The Architectural Review, discloses his personal involvement with this and another key design of the period, and with their two authors.
