War School

on BBC One London

The last of a four-part series with Michael Cockerell reporting
4: Tomorrow's War, Tomorrow's Generals?
Tonight, the young officers look to the future - their own and the army's. Their exercises mushroom to portray all-out nuclear and chemical war; they discuss how to cope with the potential collapse of morale among their men, and they reveal their personal feelings about using modern weapons of mass destruction.
Then comes the day the students call the ' Annual Camberley Pit-head Disaster'. They learn how well they've done over the year and what their next postings will be. For some it's glory; for others, misery.
