The part played by science
First of three talks by L. G. C. E. Pugh M.A., B.M., B.ch. ,Physiologist on the Everest Expedition Tonight and for the next two weeks 'Science Survey ' will be devoted to rhe research carried out in connection with protective clothing, food requirements, and oxygen. Dr. Pugh, who is a scientist at the National Institute of Medical Research, took part in Eric Shipron's expedition in 1952 and accompanied Colonel Hunt's party to Camp 4 this year. Tonight's talk deals with protective clothing.
