Kate Peters, lecturer in history at the University of Birmingham, explores the life and work of Quaker activist Margaret Fell who was converted to Quakerism in her mid-30s and dedicated the rest of her life to the cause. It is through the efforts of Margaret Fell that the modern Quaker movement exists today.
