A Fortune in Flowers When his career as an agricultural adviser ended with redundancy,
Patrick O'Hara made an extraordinary decision.
He invested his gratuity in a kiln and set about learning how to sculpt in porcelain. A botanist, he applied his new skills to modelling wild flowers. He was so successful that his work was auctioned at Christie's, and today his porcelain sculptures continue to be sought after by collectors all over the world.
