T In the Park

on BBC Three

Live coverage from Balado, Kinross, of the music festival - now in its 11th year, and one of Europe's biggest. Festival veterans Gill Mills and Dougie Anderson provide a guide to the opening day, while comedian Craig Hill is camped out in the artists' village to interview the bands. David Bowie fans will be disappointed at the news that a trapped nerve in his shoulder has forced the Thin White Duke to pull out of his performance on the Main Stage. Nevertheles, the line-up features a host of big names, including the Darkness,
Starsailor, Faithless, and Pink. On the NME stage, the Libertines. Wu Tang Clan and Keane are among the diverse range of performers, while the Slam Tent presents top dance acts including Felix Da Housecat, Basement Jaxx and Carl Craig.
Continues at 11.45pm.
